my irc server, invite only. tls only on port 6697, it runs ergo, and it officially supports catgirl (thats what i use).
its no email. just nick + password, then optionally a cert for passwordless login from catgirl.
connect with catgirl:
catgirl -h irc.0druid.cc -p 6697
first time, register your account (nick + password):
/msg NickServ REGISTER nick pass
then you can log in with sasl. put this in ~/.config/catgirl/irc.0druid.cc:
host = irc.0druid.cc port = 6697 sasl-plain = nick:pass nick = nick user = nick real = nick pass = servpass
or, do it without a password at all: add your tls cert to your account. connect with your cert, log in once, then:
/msg NickServ CERT ADD
and switch to cert-only auth:
host = irc.0druid.cc port = 6697 sasl-external nick = nick user = nick real = nick pass = servpass cert = ~/.config/catgirl/cert.pem
that cert + key is a self-signed tls client cert you make once:
catgirl -g ~/.config/catgirl/cert.pem
no logs of your messages or ip, no email, no ads. if you want an account just connect and register, i dont gate it.
